Welcome to The Presa Canario Rescue Effort
We are a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to make a difference in the lives of as many presa canarios as we can. Unfortunately because of our small size, and the amount of territory we're trying to cover, we cannot always take every dog available. We primarily try to assist with those who end up in shelters, although we will consider owner surrenders on a case by case basis.
Currently we are limited to placing dogs in the USA and Canada.
We have had some comments about the ad banners on our site, and the fact that we use a Yahoo account for our primary email. Unfortunately since the site and all operations are currently being run by volunteers, we must use every available free resource we can. Hopefully someday we will have enough money after caring for the dogs, to be able to pay to have ad-free space and a dedicated server.

- ISABELLA and MORGANA
- Isabella and Morgana were part of a group of dogs taken from a NC shelter, after they ended up there in a seizure case. We believe they were raised primarily in a kennel setting, and need a understanding home to introduce them to life and the world at large. They can be placed with another dog, but it must be the right dog for her. They do NOT need to be placed together.
- Isabella and Morgana are spayed, current on shots, and heartworm negative. Isabella is black brindle, and Morgana is brown brindle.

These dogs are not in Presa Rescue posession, so our applications and procedures do not apply. They are being placed by other rescues nationally, who you will have to contact for more information and adoption procedures.
